Based in Stuttgart, Mercedes-Benz Arena is the home to VfB Stuttgart. It has a capacity of 60,441, and thanks to its position in relation to Switzerland, there have been seven friendly internationals between the two nations since 1911. Some notable international matches held at the stadium include Poland vs Argentina, Argentina vs Italy, Poland vs Italy and Sweden vs Poland during the FIFA World Cup in 1974 and England vs Republic of Ireland, Soviet Union vs Italy as part of the FIFA World Cup in 2006.
