Santiago Bernabeu is home to the titans of La Liga and European football, Real Madrid. It currently has a seated capacity of 81,044 and has played host to home games for the team since it was built in 1947. Next to Camp Nou and Westfalenstadion is both the 2nd biggest football stadium in Spain and the 3rd largest European club football stadium.

It is named after the famed Real Madrid president and former footballer, Santiago Bernabeu and is one of the most well-known football stadiums in the world. Sharing the same level of notoriety as the likes of Old Trafford, Camp Nou and Anfield.

In addition to the stunning displays of football that the home team put on at the venue when taking on the best in La Liga, it has also played host to the final matches of the European Nations’ Cup in 1964 and the FIFA World Cup in 1982, which meant it was the first European stadium to host both a FIFA World Cup final and UEFA Euro Final.
