Generally known as Celta, Celta Vigo is a football team based in Galicia that has been a regular contender for La Liga since the 30-31 season. Estadio Municipal de Balaidos is where they call home, and Los/Os Celestes (translated as The Sky Blues) is what they are nicknamed.

An extremely exciting team, they have produced several players who have had illustrious international careers. So even if you don’t know the name Celta or are unfamiliar with the team, you will know legends like Rodrigo, Denis Suarez, Rafinha, David Silva, and Diego Costa. Despite their European and league successes, they have not won the Spanish cup competition, Copa Del Rey. They did, though, make the final three times. Their main rivalry is with their neighbours, Club Deportivo de La Coruna, in which they compete in what has been called the Galician derby.
