El Madrigal, known formerly as Estadio de la Ceramica, is Villareal's home stadium and is located to the north of Vila-real. Despite its humble 25,000 capacity, it still offers an enjoyable atmosphere, and when the team are in form, you can expect a lot of excitement and noise from the crowd.
Getting there is relatively easy, a 20-minute walk from the nearest railway station, but a shorter 10-minute walk from Vila-real’s town centre. Interestingly, its 25,000-seat capacity is the equivalent of half the small town’s population.
At the stadium, there are 30 what are known as Casals Grocs VIP boxes. These offer air conditioning, live transmission of the matches on TV, a catering service and individual seats. Five of the boxes cater to 20 people, 23 can accommodate 16, and 2 can accommodate 12 spectators.
