Based in Rennes in Brittany, Stades Rennais FC was formed in 1901 and was won by the founding members of the Ligue 1. The team play home games at the 29,778-capacity Roazhon Park. The best finish they have had in the ranking of Ligue 1 was 3rd, which they achieved in the 19-20 season. The team has also won 3 Coupe de France titles in 1965, 1971 and 2019, respectively. Despite the many changes to their name, the team’s colours have stayed the same – red, black, and white.
