Stade Brestois 29
Football Club

Founded in 1950 after giving local patronages, including Armoricaine de Brest, merged, Stade Brestois 29, known simply as Brest, are a Ligue 1 team based in Brest. After rising through the ranks of French football, they eventually reached Ligue 1 in 1979, and although they have spent some seasons in Ligue 2, they have returned to the top flight of French football without much trouble.

The team did suffer a down period during this time when it imploded on itself after a match. It is worth remembering, though, that David Ginola spent time on the team. During the 20-21 season, the team produced some of Europe's most attractive and efficient football.

They are known for being very fervent supporters, which clearly helps to power the team on even when the odds are against them.
