Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli, better known as Napoli for short, is an Italian professional football team currently playing in Serie A and is based in Naples. The team was established in 1926. They have won Serie A multiple times, in 1986-87 and 1989-90, with the most recent being in the 2022-2023 season after finishing 16 points ahead of second place Lazio. They have also won the Coppa Italia title on 6 occasions – 1961-62, 1975-76, 1986-87, 2011-12, 2013-14, and 2019-2020, as well as the UEFA Cup in 1988-89.

The late Argentinian legend Diego Maradona was the most notable player in the club's history, who helped them achieve several of their honours and trophies during the 80s. The club is the 4th most supported in Italy, with their supporters accounting for 13% of all Italian football fans. Like other Serie A teams, they have a fanbase that extends beyond Italy, and it is reckoned they have more than 35 million fans worldwide, and there are 120 million people that enjoy watching the team matches.
