Based in Florence in Tuscany, Fiorentina is an Italian professional team that competes in Serie A. For most of its existence, the team has played in Serie A and is ranked behind only 4 other teams who have played in more seasons of top-flight Italian football.

Throughout their history, Fiorentina has won 2 Italian Championships in 55-56 and 68-69, an incredible 6 Coppa Italia trophies, and 1 Supercoppa Italiana. Regarding their European performance, Fiorentina won 1 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 60-61 and then lost it the following year. They also finished as runners-up in the European Cup in the 56-57 European Cup, losing to Real Madrid and then came close to winning the UEFA Cup in 89-90, finishing as the runner-up when they faced Juventus. They have most recently finished as runners-up in the Coppa Italia after losing to Inter Milan 2-1 in the final in the 2022-2023 season.
