Associazione Calcio Milan, or AC Milan or even Milan as they are better known, is an Italian football team that currently competes in Serie A, as it has done for most of its existence. Founded in 1899, the only time it spent in Serie B was in the seasons of 80-81 and 82-83. The club has won 18 titles, the most of any Italian side and the 14th of any club.

As one of the three biggest teams in Italy, along with Juventus and rivals Inter, AC Milan has an impressive list of trophies. This includes 19 Serie A titles, with the most recent being 2021-2022, 5 Coppa Italia and 7 Supercoppa Italiana titles, 7 European Cup/UEFA Champions League titles, 2 Cup Winners’ Cup and 5 European Super Cup/UEFA Super Cup as well as 4 Intercontinental cup wins and 1 FIFA Club World Cup win.

The best-known player of Milan is Paolo Maldini, whose record still stands for both total Serie appearances and Milan appearances in general, having played 902 total games and 647 of those in Serie A.
