Stade du Moustoir

With a modest capacity of 14,340, Stade du Moustoir is the home ground for Ligue 1 team Lorient. It was opened in 1959 and remained the same until 1998, when it was given a considerable revamp and renovation because of Lorient’s promotion to Ligue 1. The cycling tracks that had run around the pitch were removed, and two brand-new stands were erected.

Further redevelopments occurred later, including replacing all its seats in 2016.

It is located within the city centre of Lorient, making it relatively easy to get to. It is just a few blocks from the city’s main train station. That station has direct links from major cities around the country, like St-Brieuc, Quimper, Rennes, and Paris.

If you are driving to the stadium and taking the E60 motorway, you can take exit 43 towards Lorient and simply follow the signs for the city centre and stadium.
