Borussia Park, with a capacity of 54,010, is the replacement for Bokelbergstadion, Borussia Monchengladbach’s old stadium, which by the time the 1990s came around, had become extremely outdated. Construction of Borussia Park was completed in 2004 and cost 86.9m Euros.
It is found on Monchengladbach’s southwestern edge and a little more than 4km away from the city's centre but 1km away from the railway station. This makes it easy to get to if you plan to take public transport.
You can also take the car and exit at Holt or Nordpark from the A61.
An enjoyable 90-minute guided tour is available on Friday afternoons and Saturday and Sunday mornings. As reservations are required, it is best to check the official website of the club and stadium for the most up-to-date schedule.
