Known as Allianz Stadium for sponsorship purposes, Juventus Stadium is located in Turin and is the home ground for Juventus FC. It is a replacement for the Stadio delle Alpi during the latter half of the 2000s and has a capacity of 41,507.
Interestingly it is one of 4 venues with the UEFA Category 4 classification. It is the 6th largest football stadium, and the first match Juventus played there was against the oldest competitive professional football team, Notts County. The friendly ended with a 1-1 draw. The first game proper was with Parma 3 days later.
A fun fact is that Juventus only lost 3 of the first 100 Serie A matches they played at Juventus Stadium. In addition to Serie A games for Juventus, the venue hosted the EFA Europa League Final in 2014 and the 2021 Finals of the UEFA Nations League. It then also hosted UEFA Women’s Champion League Final in 2022.
