Chelsea vs Southampton
26 February 2025
One of the biggest teams in the Premiership, West London’s Chelsea, calls Stamford Bridge stadium their home. Located in Fulham, which is adjacent to the team’s borough, this beautiful stadium with blue stands has a full capacity of 40,341, making it the ninth largest stadium as of the Premier League season of 22-23 and the eleventh largest in the country. Initially opened in 1877, it started as the home of the London Athletic Club until Gus Mears founded Chelsea FC in 1905.
Since then, Chelsea has played all their home games at Stamford Bridge. Over the years, it has undergone many changes, particularly during the 90s when extensive renovation work was carried out so that the venue was in line with the infamous Taylor Report that was drafted following the tragic Hillsborough Disaster that ordered all Premier League clubs to have all-seater stadiums. In addition to all of The Blues’ home games, where you can see the likes of David Datro Fofana and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in action, Stamford Bridge has also played host to England’s international football matches, FA cup semi-finals and FA Cup Finals, as well as rugby league, rugby union, American football, baseball, greyhound and speedway events.

Was a bit worried about tickets for the cup final, but it was an event I couldn’t miss. The tickets were expensive enough, but it was expected. Everyone worked well. Would recommend them.

Good service overall
Good service overall. The ticket process was smooth, and I got to see my favorite team play (Manchester City). Just a small delay in receiving the e-tickets.
