Liverpool Football Club is a professional football team based in Liverpool, England. Founded in 1892, they are one of the most successful teams in English and European football history, having won 19 top-flight league titles, 8 FA Cups and 9 League Cups. They have also won the UEFA Champions League 6 times, the UEFA Europa League 3 times and the FIFA Club World Cup once.
Jurgen Klopp is their current manager, who took over in 2015. Since then, he has been instrumental in the clubs' success and helped them win the Premier League title in 2019, which was their first in 30 years.
Key players to look out for are Virgil Van Dijk, who has been one of the Premier League's best defenders in the past ten years. Attacking-wise, Liverpool are spoilt for choice, but Mohammed Salah is the most likely to pop up with a goal just when they need it.
As you can imagine, a club with this much success and history has a hard-core following of fans, and it can be tough to get tickets. Tickets usually go to season ticket holders and club members before they are released to the public.
