Amex Stadium

Formerly known as Falmer Stadium, Brighton and Hove Albion FC’s stadium was renamed The American Express Community Stadium, often referred to as The Amex for short, due to a new sponsorship deal. The deal that gave the credit card company naming rights was reportedly a record-breaking £100m. At full capacity, the Amex can seat 30,750 football fans, making it the second-largest stadium in the South East and 31st-largest in the country.

In addition to all the home matches of Brighton and Hove Albion, it has also played host to other events, including the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euro. The Amex is a modern stadium that sits just on the edge of Brighton and is frequented by fervent, die-hard season-holder fans. Due to its location, many away fans following their team will spend some time in Brighton while also taking in the game.
