Officially known as Union Deportiva Almeria or UD Almeria, they are one of the newest clubs by far in La Liga with the current club only having been founded in 1989. They played as Almeria Club de Futbol until 2001 before adopting their current name. Although they have spent time in the Primera Division, most of their time has been spent competing in the Segunda Division. They are nicknamed Rojiblancos, the Red and Whites, and they are famous for their very enterprising and clever brand of football. They still have the individual flairs that are commonly found in many of the Spanish teams.
The Municipal Stadium of the Mediterranean Games is where they play their home games. Albert Crusat was one of the most famous Almeria players, having 150 appearances for the club.
Whilst tickets are hard to get due to their stadium having a small capacity, we are sure to guarantee you the best seats.
