Stade Francis-Le Bie is the stadium used for the Ligue 1 team home games, Brest. It has a seated capacity of 15,097 and was originally opened in 1922 when it was called Stade de I’Amoricaine. The stadium was still a very modest venue until a new stand was erected in 1982, and it was renamed to its current moniker after the city’s former mayor.

Further redevelopments were planned in 2004, but these were abandoned, and no further work was conducted until the team made it into the Ligue 1. Several modernisations were completed, including a new stand that opened in 2010.

Situated to the northeast of Brest, it is about 2.5km from the city centre and its main railway station. A pleasant walk from the city centre or that train station to the stadium takes approximately 30 minutes. Two buses run past the stadium – the numbers 25 and 27.
