St Mary's Stadium
With a strong capacity of 32,284, St Mary’s Stadium is a great place to watch some great football by Southampton that the team moved into in 2001. It is currently the biggest stadium on the South Coast and considering The Dell, The Saint's former residence, only had a capacity of 15,000, it is quite a step up. Whether you are a fan of the team or following your team on one of their away matches at St Mary’s, you will be surprised at the atmosphere achieved at the stadium. It is in a picturesque location by the River Itchen and extremely easy to access by rail and road.
In addition to the team’s matches, the stadium was also used as one of the venues for the UEFA Women’s Euro championship in 2022, hosting Group A matches, the group England was in.
