Real Valladolid

Real Valladolid was founded in 1928, but it was in 1948 that they won promotion to La Liga from Segunda Division. The team has always struggled to maintain successful runs, particularly against the big guns of Spanish football. They have yo yoed between the Segunda Division and La Liga throughout their history. One thing that can’t be taken away from Valladolid is the loyalty and love the team receive from its ardent fanbase. At the Estadio Jose Zorrilla, the atmosphere is electric.
They currently play in the second division of Spanish football after being relegated in the 2022-2023 season, losing a tight relegation battle and coming 18th with 40 points.
