Football Club

Leicester has had recent success, winning the league in 2015, which no one thought they would do, and they then went on to win the FA Cup in 2021. They also made it to the Champions League quarter-finals in the 2016-17 season. Despite these successes they have struggled to maintain this level of football and now play in the EFL championship after being relegated in the 2022-2023 season coming 18th with 34 points.

They have had some world-class players at the club in the past, such as Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante, who were instrumental when they won the Premier League.

For now, the player to watch out for is the club legend Jamie Vardy, who has scored over 170 goals for the club, rejected moves to bigger clubs and even has a film about him.
